We look forward to welcoming our incoming Secondary 1 students and parents/guardians to Broadrick Secondary School.
For the First Day of School on 2 Jan 2026, please report by 7:30am sharp to the school quadrangle. Your Character Coaches and Orientation Group Leaders (OGLs) will receive you, and the school looks forward to welcoming you to the Broadrick Family.
1. Secondary 1 Posting Results
The Secondary 1 (S1) Posting results will be released on Friday, 19 December 2025, at 9.00 am.

The student’s primary school
Important: Secondary 1 Posting results will be released on Friday, 19 December 2025, at 9.00 am. Results can be accessed via the S1 Portal (Singpass), SMS, or the student’s primary school.
Students are not required to report to Broadrick upon receiving their posting results. Parents on Parents Gateway (PG) will receive Broadrick’s instructions from the afternoon of 19 December 2025. If your child is unable to report on the first day of school in January 2026, please inform the school directly so that the place can be reserved. Please note that PG will not be available from 12 noon to 5.00 pm on 19 Dec 2025 due to system maintenance.
2. e-Registration Form
All incoming Secondary 1 students are to complete online registration via Parents Gateway (PG). A welcome letter and registration details will be sent via PG.
Please read through and follow the instructions for the online registration. Parents/Guardians are to submit the Secondary 1 online Registration form by 23 Dec 2025, 12 noon. 3. Secondary 1 Orientation & Parents' Meet and Greet

The Secondary 1 Orientation Programme will be held on 5 and 6 January 2026. More details will be published on this page from 31 December 2025.

A Parents Meet-and-Greet is scheduled for Friday, 16 January 2026.
4. Class Allocation
By 31 December 2025, parents/guardians may check Parents Gateway (PG) for their child’s class allocation. Class information will also be displayed in the school foyer at the start of the school year.
5. School Textbooks and School Uniform
School textbooks and uniforms may be purchased online or in school. Online orders and payments can be made via the suppliers’ websites.

For Approved MOE-FAS students: Students approved under MOE-FAS do not need to purchase their school textbooks and uniforms online. The collection dates for textbooks and uniforms will be from 29 to 30 December 2025.
6. Personal Learning Device (PLD)

The National Digital Literacy Programme (NDLP), launched in March 2020, aims to make digital learning inclusive and prepare students to be future-ready.

Under the NDLP, every secondary school student will own a school-prescribed Personal Learning Device (PLD).

Only Singapore Citizen students may use funds from their Edusave Account to pay for the Personal Learning Device (PLD).

The school-prescribed PLD is the Lenovo 500e Gen 4s Chromebook (N250, 8GB RAM, 64GB storage). More details on procurement and costing will be shared with parents/guardians via Parents Gateway (PG) at a later date.
7. Subjects at More/Less Demanding Levels

Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB) is part of MOE’s efforts to nurture the joy of learning by providing multiple pathways that cater to students’ strengths and interests.

If your child/ward is eligible to take a subject at a more demanding level, an acceptance form will be sent via Parents Gateway (PG) at a later date.
8. Student Smart Card (SSC) for Concessionary Travel

All students entering Secondary 1 in January 2026 will be issued a new Secondary-level School Smart Card (SSC).

While waiting for the new SSC, students may continue using their Primary-level SSC for concessionary travel until end-April 2026.
9. Financial Assistance Scheme

Singapore Citizen students who require financial assistance may apply for support from MOE to cover school fees and other expenses via e-FAS (click here). All information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality.

10. Parents’ Support Group (PSG)

The Broadrick Parents’ Support Group (PSG) is a vibrant community of parents who support our students and school activities. By joining the PSG, parents can contribute meaningfully to their child’s educational experience, connect with fellow parents, and participate actively in school events. 11. Appeals and School Transfer Procedures
Appeal for Transfer to Another School (Medical Reasons)

Parents seeking a transfer for their child due to serious medical conditions or severe physical impairments must submit an appeal in person at the school’s General Office during the Medical Appeal Exercise (MAE). Please visit the MOE page (click here) for more details and deadlines for the exercise.

All appeals must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents (e.g. medical reports or doctor’s letters). Applications that are incomplete, lack supporting documents, or are submitted late will not be processed.
